It can be added inline with the CTs however.
Can i micro-calibrate CT's showing incorrect watts?

(since the board channels go top to bottom, let's number the block pins 1-4 top to bottom... so that means it's a jumper on pins 3/4, sound ok?)

Sounds right, assuming mounted with the Sys/COM LEDs in the top-right.johnstonf wrote:(since the board channels go top to bottom, let's number the block pins 1-4 top to bottom... so that means it's a jumper on pins 3/4, sound ok?)

Re: Can i micro-calibrate CT's showing incorrect watts?
Thanks Ben,
So if the CT is on pins 2-3, that puts a resistance load on the CT...
So what does adding a jumper on the two outside pins do?
(does it jumper, and thus remove/negate the resistance??)
just trying to understand this... thx...

The jumper works as a filter to remove noise. I'm not sure the exact mechanics behind it. I'll ask Paul tomorrow for a proper explanation.johnstonf wrote:Thanks Ben,

Hi Ben,
Do you know when Paul will be in to ask hiim?
Thanks, Fred

It grounds the terminal.johnstonf wrote:Hi Ben,

Hi Ben,
I had left a further set of questions on this...
Did it get removed?

Hmm, I'm not seeing them. Repost them and I'll look into them.

Re: Can i micro-calibrate CT's showing incorrect watts?
So I'm assuming it removes spurious signals via grounding...
q1>Do i need to do this to all 30+channels?? (lots have these spurious signals)
(and yes, the one i tried settled right down by doing the jumper!)
q2>Is there a shortcut to not having to do all these jumpers?
q3>Is this because I am using Micro-80's, or >1 circuit per channel?
Thanks, Fred

As noted in my install thread there are several procedures that should be done before using the jumper method.
