Thanks much, yet again, I will talk to the wife and see where I go from there. I will probably be back online if I buy this for some help in setting things up.

Again, really appreciate the help, it has been great so far.

I really appreciate both of your guys help and time on this.

I think I can talk the wife in the GEM setup, but if I have to include the DB it might put the price out of reach, so that is why I am asking all these questions now.

Phil,

The GEM by default is capable of sending its energy data to SEG. As Ben also noted you can also push / poll the same data using any of the free software suites.

The DB is a premium offering from Brultech for those who really want a plug and play solution which provides tremendous amounts of charts, graphs, and related features not found in competing software / hardware devices in the market.

If the software offerings meet your near term needs that is the way to go. When the finances allow you may see the great benefit the DB brings to the table.

There are lots of energy monitors on the market today. It's safe to say Brultech offers the most accurate, robust, and 3rd party friendly support of any vendor in the world.

Based on CT's per circuit it is the best value anywhere. Besides rock solid performance Brultech is probably the only energy monitoring company that continues to innovate and develop their wares.

While other makers simply leave you with a finished product that is either half baked or lacking in user feed back and development.
