Setting up local monitoring with GEM

Post by nbsvirginia » Wed Jan 29, 2014 10:25 pm

Are there instructions how to set up the GEM with monitoring on a local computer? I tried to look through the manuals but was not able to find anything. Which application would be installed on a local computer for this?

Thanks!

Thanks - I did see the Engine settings. Using Engine does come with a few issues I was hoping to resolve by "upgrading" to GEM... I would certainly lose the temperature sensors and I was also hoping to have a UI without Flash...

Worst case I have to invest in a dashbox...

You can also use btmon.py (http://lancet.mit.edu/~mwall/projects/power/) and EmonCMS or Cacti.
