Can we expect a new version or considerably updated software for the ECM-1240 any time soonish? Been quite a while now for any updates...

The server we're working on for supports both the ECM-1240 and the GreenEye Monitor. We're getting closer to having it finished. It supports xbee, serial, ethernet, and WiFi (station or AP mode), it has 8 GB storage space, and a dashboard running as a web service.

Have you tried any 3rd party software? For example, Matthew Wall has done a fair bit of development. His script supports basically every 3rd party energy host, and be used in conjunction with the Engine software (uses our binary packet format) http://lancet.mit.edu/~mwall/projects/power/.
