What does the ECM-1240 measure?

What does the ECM-1240 measure?

Maybe I am just blind, but I cannot find what the meter actually logs. I have found kW-Hrs, but, does it measure Watts, maximum watts or amps during a time period? I want the meter to determine what kind of UPS I need. To do this, I need to know the maximum current or power drawn (to determine UPS size) and the Watt-hours over time (to determine run time). Any ideas where I can get this info?
