I have two ECM-1240's with a mux cable, to a PC via USB/Serial cable. Works great. Data is forwarded with BTMON python to a local EMONCMS server.
I'd like to use a Startech Netrs232 to do a TCP/IP connection. Actually I think the ECM-1240 can send a URL right to the EMONCMS server, and I won't need the BTMON python.
But I can't get the Startech to talk. I can get the client/server connected, but IA software won't see the ECM-1240.
Anyone tried this?
Anyone tried a Netrs232 for serial over IP ?
