Can someone please help with the setup of the open weather add on. I've found a few posts with discussions about it but nowhere how to set it up, unless its really easy and I'm just missing it.
I've created an account (free one )with open weather and got my API, entered all the relevant info onto the brultech page.

From there I'm not sure what is supposed to be happening.
I see it appeared in my channels, but the drop box also has nothing

Any instructions would be appreciated

Based on the first screen shot it's been setup correctly as I see the weather metrics in the pop up you offered here.

What firmware is the DB running now? If you haven't updated the DB for awhile there is a new Beta version in the software download section. Once the firmware has been loaded please ensure you reboot the controller and report back what happens with a new screen shot.

Also, I'm not in front of the system but check to see if that channel isn't hidden in the settings. I don't recall that being an option ever because there should just be a channel like what you have above.

Hi Teken
Thanks for taking the time to reply, love your work here and at UDI. I just started my install which I'll soon start to post under Projects, I've allready got questions regarding your method of fine tuning of the ct type's, but that will be another post, just waiting on a power meter.
Coming back this post my DashBox Version: 4.2.3c8a.
Upgraded to 4.2.3c9e

I upgraded to the new version and then done a reboot from here.

But it still looks the same, nothing has changed.
I cant find an option in the setting to hide the channel, not under the weather add on anyway.
What is suppose to happen?

Hello,

Could you do two things for me and provide a image capture once done. Settings->System->Raw Data. You should see a log entry called WAPI (Weather API) about every ten minutes. Also using Google Chrome web browser can you select F12. This will open the developer console once open go to the upper left and hover your mouse on the refresh.

Right mouse click and select *Empty cache and hard reload*.

Once that is done go to the settings in the Google Chrome browser and delete all of the history, cookies, etc. Close the web browser and relaunch and let me know if you see the weather module as seen in my screen capture.

I assume the entry will be under the System Log, there don't seem to be any entry. I watched it for about 20min ( very exciting).
Thanks
Riaan

Hello Riaan,

There are three raw data logs: All, ISY, IFTTT. Please change it to ISY and let me know if it shows up in there as Ben made some changes in the latest Beta firmware and the WAPI (Weather) may appear in either section. Based on your first screen shot everything appears to be set up and working fine. Its more than likely the *Add-On* weather flag has been locked out.

If that is the case, Ben will need to assist you in that endeavor.

Hi Teken
That is definitely not there, but I did find a Outdoor Weather in my summary, but there is no data.

Did you open the raw data logs to ISY to see if there is any data?

Hello Riaan,

It's more than likely the weather module has been locked out. If you look at the ALL logs you may see a entry that say Add-Ons locked out.

Let me know if that is the case. If so Ben will need to assist in unlocking that Weather module for you.
