Brultech reliability

Post by Frugal » Sun Aug 20, 2017 2:16 pm

I purchased a Brultech 1220 on April 11, 2008. It was installed on May 5th of that year and has been collecting data without fault since that time. We're moving to a new house, so it was taken out of service for the last time today. The only problem I've had with it was the plugs going to the CTs disintegrated when I removed them today.

I also purchased a Brultech 1240 on July 28, 2011. I've had zero problems with it also and it will be installed at the new house. To bad I can't convince my wife to let me buy a GEM, but I plan to buy a water meter next week.

Kudos to the Brultech team for creating such well designed and reliable products.
