Nice doc. One note, you show connecting to com2 as default when using cable (com1 only when xbee module is installed).

But on page 26 it says:

For RS-232 Serial Communication
1. Select the “Packet Send” menu
2. Set “Primary (Com1) Packet Format” to “4 Bin48-NET-Time”
3. Set the “Packet Send Interval” to 5 seconds
4. Set the “Secondary (Com2) Packet Format” to disable
5. Click “Save

you might want to add 'depending which com port you connected the STS cable to do xyz' some folks will follow guide literally...

for example in my system i use the STS cable on com2 for the dashbox and set it to bin48-net time and on com1 have protocol 2 to send to nodelink...
