How old are these monitors? Do they have a serial number on the back of them?

Are you using our IA software to read the serial numbers?

They are like 4 years old. They (all of them) have a sticker in front with a serial number, any

devices have serial numbers in back. Im using IA and Engine Software to show/view data and the

serial number. Only one! shows same serial number with its sticker, other 2 shows 0-0000. Its

strange i know, i have been reload firmware 1.030 but nothing. You know how can i fix it?

I don't own a ecm1240, I own a GEM, but am wondering
In my 35 years around computers, I never heard you could put more than one device on an RS-232 line, RS-485 yes, but not RS-232
Have you tried the 3 one at a time ??
Just my thoughts

Sent over a couple of emails to the address assigned to your account.

Good morning. Recently this has happened to me. I had a power outage and when the unit came back online I had to reconfigure it. The serial number was zero'ed out and the unit number went from unit 1 to unit 0.

Is there a battery in the unit which may need replacing after a time? My unit is probably 4 years old as well.

There's no battery in the unit.

Emailed you over a new F/W and sent over an IA version to reprogram the S/N. That should fix up your issue.

Thanks, Ben. I really appreciate that. However, I haven't received your email. I'm assuming you sent it to the address I registered with this forum? I checked my spam folder as well.

Thanks, Mark.

Yeah, I sent it to that address. It had 2 files attached so it might take some time to go through. If it doesn't reach you in an hour or so let me know and I'll resend. The email might've hit some sort of filter as the zip contains an executable.
