It hasn't arrived, so I'm guessing Google is silently blocking the email because of the .exe. Can you zip or rename the file? I apologize for all the hassle.

Not a problem, I'll PM you the links and send you a basic email to confirm the .exe issue.

Is there a battery in the unit which may need replacing after a time? My unit is probably 4 years old as well.

There's no battery in the unit.

Emailed you over a new F/W and sent over an IA version to reprogram the S/N. That should fix up your issue.
I know this is an old threat... same thing just happened to my 1240 as well. After a power cycle its serial number got set to 0-00000 (read with IA utility). How can I reset it?

Thank you.

Yeah, will do. You should get it in the next 5-10 minutes.

Hi Ben, the attachment didn’t come through. Maybe gmail is blocking .exe files. Could you please try zip it before sending?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Never mind, found it on firmware update tab.

About firmware update, I have an old unit with both F1 and F2 switch. Instruction says press both F1 F2 while powering up, then release F1. Do I need to keep F2 pressed all the time? Will this erase calibrations?

What F/W version is on there? If the S/N reset fine, maybe just run it as-is for now. I'll have to get Paul to look at compatibility with those old units and new F/W.
