Can't disable AP
I'm having trouble disabling the APs on two wifi/ethernet GEMs.
they are connected over ethernet and in AP mode, using COM 5.13 and ENG 1.49.
when i go to Adv and click Off, it says "Setting AP mode. Wait 8 seconds for execution to complete." and counts down (from 12 ) and the right LED goes off for a few seconds and then comes back orange, but the AP is still broadcasting.
i see in the manual, "You have the option to disable the AP completely when connected to the network using WiFi." how can I just use ethernet?

Have you tried it a few times? It can be a bit of a tricky one to get to latch. Make sure you cycle your WiFi too in case it's not actually there (can you connect to them?).mroch wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 11:01 pmI'm having trouble disabling the APs on two wifi/ethernet GEMs.

If that's not working (I'm unsure if there's a version of the module where it doesn't work) you can go under AP Settings and hide/secure the AP then remove the antenna or unclip it on the module to kill the range.

Re: Can't disable AP
Under Device Management on the WiFi/Ethernet module there should be a version number there.

The AP Off in Adv settings should work with the newer modules. How do you have it configured?
If all else fails, secure/hide the SSID, unclip the pigtail for the antenna.
