PolWatts

Post by comet48 » Wed Dec 01, 2021 4:09 pm

Have multiple Gems connected to CQC.

Had an issue which I thought was the Gem, now looks like it's the CT200. Have to take power down to get at them, so swapped out gem as a first step. After moving everything across to a new Gem still have the same issue. Power from PGE would randomly be way off. Still the case with the new Gem.

Now that I've moved everything, I'm now getting "Power to the grid" in my previous "Power from the grid" field and vice versa. To Power to the grid I have PolWatts, and from the grid I'm using Watts-PolWatts. Correct? This worked previously, but not now.

Could someone explain PolWatts?

Thanks,
Ron H

What am I missing - it seems PolWatts is zero no matter which way the electrons are flowing:(

Under Channel Option in the GEM Setup Webpage is the channel marked as "Net"?

Thanks Ben - finally figured it out last night. Had to mark the service provider channel as NetMetering .
