My 2 GEMS stopped working with dashbox 9 days ago status says inactive.
When i click status I get the following:
Fatal error: Call to a member function num_rows() on a non-object in /var/www/btech/controllers/pages/main.php on line 509
I have rebooted and unplugged and nothing.

That error means the GEM channel marked as "Main" hasn't sent a packet in awhile or you have no channels marked as "Main". The version here should resolve the error message:Sbe wrote:My 2 GEMS stopped working with dashbox 9 days ago status says inactive.

(apply under Settings->System->Upgrade Firmware, select the img file, click Update Site).
Given that's the error, and the dashboard is running, I'd suspect something on the GEM-side of things.
Is there anything under Settings->System->View Log Files?
What is the LED status on the GEMs?
How old are the units?
What F/W is the DashBox running?

Re: Dashbox not working - both GEM s status inactive
Hi,
The GEMS are plugged in. Lights are green - the green light flickers red at the same time the light flickers on dashbox which has solid green light that flickers red (by flicker I mean almost miss it as it is mostly solid green.) I believe this means something is being sent to dashbox.
The GEMs are plugged into the dashbox directly. They are 2 and 1/2 years old.
I updated firmware on dashbox last night to most up to date.
I have two mains on my GEMs and marked as mains.
