GEM showing 0W

Post by ralbrightii » Mon Feb 19, 2018 11:45 pm

I am showing amperage on several channels but no watts. Watts reads as 0. Attached as screen grab of the Live Data window. (Before you ask, I have only thus far fed wires through the top hole in the back of my GEM, so that is why there are gaps in the numbering.

Doh, figured it out. Needed the PT lead plugged in as well. SO that looks like there are 3 power bricks for this setup to function.

Yeah there's 2 for the GEM, one for the DashBox.

We used a single supply setup with our ECM-1240, the issue with that setup is the additional power draw of WiFi/Ethernet/etc. can affect voltage readings (especially WiFi due to the difference between transmit and receive power).
