Ok, I ordered the resistors to make the USB PT adapter.

The temp sensors:
I have done the search and it finds the only one I have attached, and I've saved it to the config as well.

Would you happen to have other 1 wire sensors available that aren't in the 10 series?

Temporarily switch your packet format to HTTP Get, then click the Show Packet button. Check if it shows up as the 1st temperature sensor there.

What COM F/W are you running? I'll check to Paul to see if that's been fixed in a later version.

So sorry to have created another thread on this, not quite for sure how that happened. Feel free to move it back under the other one.

I checked the rest of my temp sensors, sadly, they are all the 10 series. Does that make a difference?

Switched to HTTP GET

Hello,

If its possible could you purchase just one 1 wire sensor from another vendor and report back what the results are. Also, would you please offer a photo of the colored wires from the 1 wire sensors.

To date I haven't seen or heard of anyone ever having issues with the 1 wire sensors besides myself. Meaning, I received a huge batch of sensors which were just duds from the seller.

Sure, I'll look into grabbing another one. The one I'm using I've used before, and I've tested 3-4 of them. Currently I'm using bare DS1820s, the one I'm testing with right now is actually just jammed in the 1wire port on the GEM.

What are the color of the wires? Is the standard red (power) black (ground) yellow (data)?

Just bare sensors, no colors.

Just for clarity the 1 wire chip is plugged in using the flat side as the reference point from left to right.

Pin 1 Ground
Pin 2 Data
Pin 3 Positive (VDC)

I'll ask Paul to take a look at the GEM firmware. Based on what you've shown, it shouldn't be happening.
