Firmware Update Failure

Currently using 4.00/1.49

Tried upgrading to 4.17 today using Network Utility 7.0.
At 44.2% it basically stopped and incremented 0.1% every 5 minutes. Can no longer connect to the GEM. I then followed the manual and went into recovery mode.

I'm assuming I just need to reload the 4.17? I tried this, it stops at 14.2% and increments 0.1% every 5 minutes. Tried another half dozen times, it keeps stopping anywhere between 6% and 18%.

Can connect to port 80 and verified 19200.
On startup (normal and recovery), left LED is solid red, right is solid yellow.

What communication module are you using?

When it increments, is it continuous up until the 14.2% or does it pause then increment?

Ethernet (I have the combo card).
TCP Client port 8000.

It's a steady increment until it stops at whatever point.

Can you attach a screenshot of your Application Settings screen on the WiFi/Ethernet module?

14% should take ~14 seconds at 19200, can you confirm that's the same on your end?

Settings below.

Yes, the update is around 1% / second. This time it made it to 23.8%, goes continuous in 0.5% increments.

Assuming you used the GEM network utility tool to first set it to firmware mode. You can load the COM firmware using 115200 baud.

The only time it needs to be set to 19200 baud is to load engine firmware.

I can't use any speed - it stalls.

Does it stall using direct Ethernet vs WiFi? Not too sure what the success rate is using WiFi is.

Ethernet.
I just switched to Wi-Fi and it downloaded successfully first time. Up and running now.

Wi-Fi set as AP was creating a problem?

I have a 24-port commercial managed gigabit switch with flow control disabled. I checked the switch log and there are zero errors or collisions on that port.

The manuals are quite confusing too. The setup manual tells me to set STA mode and specify an IP Address in the AP section if I want to use Ethernet. If I do this I can never connect. In order to use Ethernet I need to keep the module in AP mode.

There should really be a way to just disable wireless.
