Hi all,
I've been logging when my GEM goes down and why over the past couple of weeks. During my installation and trouble shooting phase, having the GEM go down was a bit of a mystery which I attributed to the fact I was often in the GEM setup and rebooting the system.
Over the past week I've seen this pattern.
About every 3-4 days the GEM stops sending to SEG. I can log in to the GEM setup page, so IP is working normally as far as my local network is concerned. If I reboot the module under device management, it starts sending to SEG again.
The last two times the outage has also occurred around 5:55 AM. I'm not sure if that's a coincidence or related to the problem.
I've been through this 3x now so it seems like a trend. What can I do to get this stable so the GEM keeps sending data? Or how could I test things to see where the problem might be?
