Just wanted to give another update that the GEM setup menu is now readable thru the web browser.

Using 192.168.1.50:8000 got me there finally. I then realized I needed to now reset the baud to 115200 since the webpage wasn't rendering correctly. Now I don't ever remember seeing this page before (initially used the Java setup awhile back). I think my issue was old firmware that was updated but never really got installed correctly? I was one of the early adopters of the GEM and had real old f/w.

So the only final missing piece is to be able to connect thru the network utility to be able to do f/w upgrades when available... and then go thru this procedure all over again... ;o)

Thanks, Matt

Hey Ben,

After setting the baud to 115,200... the Network Utility now connects correctly and reads the GEM info. I think I'm all set now and just have to reconfig all my CT's.

Thanks for the guidance. I was ready to tell you I needed to buy another GEM as I'm lost without my power monitoring.

Thanks again,
Matt

Hey Ben,

One last thing... I'm seeing an Error in the GEM Stup page? Any indication of what that is?

Thanks, Matt

Is the battery out? Err1 means the battery is either removed or dead. It only checks on boot-up, so you can also try just cycling power.

Thanks for the help Ben.

Everything is back to normal. Well, better than normal with the f/w upgrades.

A+.
