Currrent for small loads incorrect in Live Data

Post by peppersass » Sat Oct 25, 2014 8:22 pm

Adding to my report on the repeated current display for channels 17-32, it looks like the current for small loads on channels 1-16 is off by an order of magnitude.

For example, a zero-watt load (breaker off) shows 0.06A. Because the wattage is computed as 1 Watt, I suspect that's really 0.006A. More detail in my post here.

3.18 firmware should resolve the current issue on channels 17-32 when its released.

It's likely picking up a small amount of noise. Tekens suggestions in the other thread covers the ways you can try to reduce/eliminate the noise.
