Communication Status LED never turns on

I still can't get the eng firmware to load.. same error after i flash the com to 2.50.. I've forced the rs232 to 19200 and nothing changes and again, the sys led turns off after a bit

Do a Get GEM Info and attach a screenshot for me.

Here you go... It shows ENG 1.47, but I still have no wifi or wired ethernet connectivity and I've never been able to re-flash it.

Are you connected to COM1 or COM2? If COM2, try moving the cable to COM1 and try the same thing (Get GEM Info).

The Firmware tab Baud Rate buttons will only control the baudrates on COM1.

FWIW, unscrewing and disconnecting the wifi module brings the other LED online, but I still don't have wired ethernet connectivity. If the wifi is plugged in, the second LED never comes online.

Put the GEM into Recovery Mode and try to reset the WiFi/Eth module by holding in the button for 6 seconds (the button on the side of the actual Comm. module). It may take around 30 seconds to a minute for a full reset.

After check your wireless networks to see if it appears.
