Is there still a problem with your GEM? As your Dash Box seems to be working well and energy data is flowing and available for viewing.
I got it figure out last night... The GEM and DashBox were set to difference baud rates... Once I rebooted the GEM in recovery mode and set the DashBox to 19200, I was able to push the new firmwares and be on my way.

For future reference, what is the correct process for pushing new firmware to the GEM connected via serial to a DashBox?
The first thing I do is set the GEM Network Utility Tool to firmware Mode under the Comm Settings -> Ethernet Only tab.

I then select the Firmware tab -> Open a connection ensuring there is a solid green status -> Select Get GEM info -> Upload the COM firmware using 115200 baud.

Once the system reboots, I set the baud rate to 19200 for the Engine firmware upload. After that is done I always do a full reboot of the GEM.

Once done, I set the baud rate back to 115200 while still in the Firmware tab. Go back to the Ethernet Only tab and change the Comm Setting back to Normal and select Save Settings.
Awesome. Thanks!

Did you see I'm now monitoring water consumption? SEG has some great options for displaying water usage.

Yes I did! :P I really want to add in a 3rd party water meter with a pulse output. I purchased a after market sensor to read the existing water meter but haven't had the time to install and trouble shoot the install.

What is the link to your SEG?

The last 24 hours is a little off because of the issues I had with my GEM...

On a side note, I have 3 more temperature sensors to deploy... Have you found an elegant way to mount them in a visible area in your home? I've considered putting them in the cold air returns on each floor of my house, but really want more of a static air measurement in the living area.

In my install thread you will see that I installed the sensors into the cable outlet and central vacuum cover plates.

Once I am able to deploy the other 32 temperature channels they will need another installation solution.
