GEM in Australia

Post by mikelg » Tue May 20, 2014 1:57 am

Hi guys,

Ive sent two emails with no response so ill try on here.

I live in Melbourne, Australia and I'm looking at using your Green Eye Monitor.

Would like GEM be compatible with Australia supply voltage (230V AC - 50Hz)?

Do you ship to Australia?

Hello Mike,

The installation manual states (page 46) that the GEM can be configured for 50 Hz via software. The PT (Potential Transformer) input voltage from 120 - 480 volts. The manual indicates an alternate part number of PT01 (please confirm with Brultech) if that is the correct one for your region.

Please send in another quote / sales request to both support and sales alias.

Hey Mike,

The GEM is compatible, you'll have to source your own power supply, we have 50Hz PTs.

May take a few days right now to get a quote, we're in the middle of catching up due to the holidays.

Hello Michael,

Please send in a request to the following Brultech alias: sales@brultech.com and CC : support@brultech.com

You do not need the Zigbee radio unless you're interfacing with something like the UDI ISY-994 Home Automation Controller. I do believe that if you wish to communicate via Zigbee from the GEM to Dash Box.

That is another method but most folks communicate via the STS cable, Wifi, Ethernet.

We're currently out-of-stock on WiFi/Ethernet modules. We only have WiFi or Ethernet options available.
