I think I figured it out... I was running discovery from outside my home network (I was at my office). It appears SEG is looking at the external IP address of the PC the discovery is being initiated from. It would be awesome if SEG would allow for the entry of a domain name instead of automatically detecting the current external IP address, especially since the external IP address can change.

Yes, I still need to add the metadata, but SEG is receiving data from my DB.

What is the recommended means of extending 1-wire temperature sensors? Bell wire? Thermostat wire, CAT5,etc...?

CAT5e, or better yet CAT6 cable. If you're worried about voltage drop and only have CAT5e you can simply double up the wire pairs for distances over 100 feet. I personally did not see any type of errors going 200 plus feet.

But, I am using CAT6 Ethernet cable which is 22 awg vs 24 for CAT5e.
