COM firmware ver 4.0 is available for the GEM. This version has no new features or changes, only a bug fix.

An issue has been discovered which occurs if data is being sent to the GEM via either comm port or module while the GEM is re-booting. This has the potential to create some of the symptoms listed below:

• - corrupt CT, PT or other settings

• - cause the communication module to lock up

• - cause the GEM to stop responding

This issue is most likely to occur when posting data to SEG or other HTTP sites where a response is received with the occurrence of a packet send. Should a power outage or slight brownout occur during the packet response, any of the above symptoms may be experienced.
