Hi,
I have a readyNas NV NAS server which is on 24/7. It has the ability to load and run python (2.6). Does anybody have experience using this (or any other NAS) for btmon? Is there anything special I need to know?
My current setup is 1240 x2 with several channels and an etherbee to connect to the network (wired)
Thanks
K

Re: btmon on NAS
hello k,
no experience with a nas, but i have run btmon under tomato on an asus router as well as a few different brands of plug computers (and of course on windows and linux desktops). for dev and testing we run 8 to 12 btmon instances on a dreamplug. for 'production', my preferred environment for always-on data collection is debian on an ionics plug computer with 512MB memory. it just works.
a typical btmon instance will use 10MB of real memory and 30MB of virtual memory.
